A: It is illegal, because the FDA says it has not approved the medicines for sale in the US. The health care bill approved by the Senate specifically requires the FDA to keep Canadian prescription drugs out of the US. A: In order for a Pharmacy in Canada to fill your prescription they need to SEE the actual script, so you will need to send it to them by mail.
Or get your American Doctor, to phone them, to confirm his name and his US medical licence.
Having said that, it sounds to me like you are trying to get drugs without a script, which is illegal here in Canada.

There is nothing wrong with moving schedule 3,4, and 5 drugs as long as you are doing it with in the laws of the state you are prescribing and fufilling from.
It is the people whom import drugs illegal (From india, costa rica) and either just straight drop ship overseas into the USA or ship in bulk into the usa and then break up the packages and re-distribute them. THAT is illegal.

Q: Prescription through a Canadian Pharmacy?
My dad needs eye drops but it's hecka expensive in the States ($150 for 5ml). He can get it for about 50% less in Canada. Thinking of telling him to take a vacation to Vancouver, BC and get his meds filled. Does anyone know if they even refill prescriptions from the States? Can I just take the prescription to a Canadian Walmart or something and get the prescription filled?

A: I use them all the time. They use the same name brands and are in the exact same packaging on everything I buy and they are half the cost and no prescription is necessary in most cases except for controlled substances like Codeine and the like which you can not legally ship into the United States anyway that would constitute a felony. I have had absolutely no problems with the drugs and I use a credit card so I get money back from my credit card company because of the exchange rate.

I was wondering if it was legal to order Clomid from a Canadian pharmacy? I live in the state of Arizona. I am dianosed with anovulatory PCOS. A: I totally understand the desperation and willingness to try "anything", but in general, no. It is NOT legal to buy drugs from an out-of-state (or country) online pharmacy without a prescription. Plus, its medically dumb (but you seem to know that already).
Why won't a doctor to help you? If you have a diagnosed fertility issue (PCOS), then you don't even have to wait a full year to get help. Seek a reproductive endocrinologist, so you don't have to resort to desperate measures like this.

Q: Getting Meds in other countries???
I'm Canadian, and the Canadians won't give me enough meds for the duration of my vaction, its retarded. A: Cheaper and more reliable here. Have your Drs. office mail you the filled prescription to an address at your overseas location, allowing plenty of time for them to arrive. You may have to go to the custom office to pick them up, but you would have to travel to the Pharmacy there anyway. That is safest and most reliable.
Q: I have an underactive thyroid and keep putting on weight, HELP!?
I am supposed to be stable now, take 100 mcg thyroxine every day for the last 3 years and I used to be thin until about May this year. I started packing on weight like crazy, but lately (for like 2 months) I really watched what I ate and still put on weight!
Like I have 2 slices of toast for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and steamed veg with pasta for dinner, with loads of coffee (no sugar) and diet coke in between. I have never been so fat, tired, constantly cold and frustrated in my life!
And my doctor says, no we won't put up your meds, your T3 and T4 is in the normal range. I hate this!!! Can't I force him to put me in the upper end of "normal" rather than the middle? Maybe it should be higher considering I'm very tall?

A: Sounds like your thyroid isn't functioning as properly as it has been the last couple of years. I wouldn't recommend increasing your dosage yourself as that can be dangerous. There are other options. Cut out the amount of carbs in your diet. Absolutely no white foods like white bread, white rice or pasta. replace these with wholemeal and brown. And have more fresh food and no processed foods. So lots of vegetables and salads everyday. The thyroid needs a diet full of fresh foods. Also, you don't mention exercise, you should start doing at least 30 mins of exercise 4 times a week - pick something fun so that you get into a good routine and 30 mins is all you need to do initially. You can build it up once you get into a routine and you will notice that this helps speed up your metabolism which will help you lose weight and you'll be burning more calories.
