Q: DRYSOL anti-perspirant?
hi, can i buy DRYSOL anti-perspirant in phamacies in the USA without doctor's prescription?is it over the counter medicinhe or do i need prescription

A: Similar preparations are certainly over the counter in the UK, I assume they are in the US as well.

Q: How do i buy a medical product online without using a credit card?
I need a product called Drysol for sweaty hands and i really need it but my parents are fussy about credit cards. Is it possible to get a doctor to order it for you? I live in Australia and its only sold in the US

A: Unless you use an online check, I don't think you can. There's Paypal and things similar to it, but if I'm not mistaken, those require a credit card to get set up. You can also get a prepaid credit card. ps I don't blame your parents because I put in my credit card # on freecreditreport.com and they've been taking unauthorizrd transactions.

Q: Which works better: Drysol or CertainDri?
Hi I've got a question about the Drysol and CertainDri anti-perspirant's. Which one works better? I used to be an excessive sweater--especially under the armpits. Many people said that CertainDri works really well--but when I went to my local Shoppers Drug Mart, they did not have it in stock. So instead I bought Drysol. I would like to know if CertainDri works better than Drysol, so if anyone could help me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

A: my mom had lots of problems in that area, and she used Mitchem. i wonder if they aren't all the same. i think most antiperspirants have roughly the same ingredients anyway.

Q: wuts tha best antiperspirant that doesnt contain aluminium?
i sweat all the time no matter what im doing! and its even goes through layered shirts. my mom says its not serious so she wont let me buy Drysol because she doesnt want me to risk getting cancer and Alzheimer from tha aluminum in it. what else is there that effectivly works and doesnt have alot of aluminum in it?

A: i have the same problem.... a deoderant called Maxim worked pretty well for me for a minute, but then it started irritating my skin. and i started to prespire more heavily thru my palms and face. I think Maxim has aluminum in it as well, so this answer may not have been much help.

Q: should i use drysol? please help?
i just bought drysol because i sweat so much under my armpits. But i read online that people experiance irritation. Does this happen to everyone? can i prevent it? is it really irritating? does it go away after awhile? i really want to know before i use it. if anyone has any answers to some of these questions please help.

A: If you have sensitive skin, you may get irritated. it won't be unbearable.. just try it out. If you experience irritation, stop using it. Don't use it right after shaving your armpits. If you shave at night, wait until the morning after to apply the antiperspirant... but the bottom line is that if you;re going to have a reaction to it, you;re going to have a reaction. there's not much you can do unfortunately lol.

Q: Questions about Drysol (deoderant)?
Hey, i am considering buying drysol. these questiosn are for people who have had experience with Drysol, only. btw, this is for my excessively sweaty hands... how long did it take to start working? did it really completely stop the sweating? what kind of side effects were there? thanks!! AND do you need a prescription!? thanks!

A: i have to tell you right now, drysol is AMAZING. I have hyperhydrosis of my underarms. I tried easily a dozen different types of deoderants before trying drysol. It took about a week or so to start having an effect. It worked wonders for me. It stoped my sweating about 95% which is amazing. The side effects can be that it is just uncomfortable when applied and caused a small rash for me, which went away.

Q: question about DRYSOL?
i'm a very excessive sweater and sufferer of hyperhidrosis. i just bought Drysol (similar to Certain Dri in the U.S. but stronger) and will use it for the first time tonight after hearing it can work miracles. just a few questions... it says on the instructions to apply at night and then "wash the treated area with soap and water the following morning as aluminum chloride can harm certain clothing". Does everyone who uses it do that? will there be stains on my clothes otherwise? would having a shower the following morning wash off too much of the product? Also, approximately how much of the product do you put on at night? i don't want to soak my skin but i also don't want to put too little would really appreciate your advice THANKS!

A: I'm a pretty big Drysol fan, even though I don't need to use it as often anymore. When I do use it, I dab underneath my arms with the applicator just enough so that the entire area I suspect to be sweating from feels damp. Don't dab a spot you've already covered twice...it's a waste of product. In the morning, I often would forget to even wash it off, and end up having a shower anyways that night, or I'd have a bath in the morning and only use water to wash it. I never found my clothes to be stained or anything like that, and best of all, I ceased to sweat :) Best of luck to you!

Q: Can Drysol be bought without prescription?

A: yes altough I live in Canada. If you can't buy it in the US then go to Ebay and purchase it there. this is an extremely effective product. I highly recommend it. Price in Canada is around $20.00. It s not cheap but it lasts a long time.

Q: does anyone know or use drysol if u do answer my question please?
hey, i am going to by drysol today and i have some questions. when you put it on at night then the next day u wash it off do u put your deodorant on? then how much is it? and do u need a prescription to buy it i need it by Sunday so can i get it at Walmart? and how big is the bottle? please answer PLEASE!!!

A: Yeah, I put deodorant on after I've washed it off. You mean how much does it cost? I think it cost around 20, I'm not sure though. I got mine from my doctor, I don't know where else you can get it. I just measured, its 3 inches tall and 3.5 around. If you have any other questions feel free to message me! :)

Q: where can i get DrySol?
I HAVE AN UNDERARM SWEATING PROBLEM AND PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME TO GET DRYSOL WHERE CAN I BUY IT AT?? IS IT EXPENSIVE??

A: I buy mine from my local pharmacy. Im in Canada and it costs about 12 dollars for me and last for about a year. Not a bad deal. You will love it :)

Q: Where can I buy a strong deodorant in the Philippines?
Not the commercialized ones. I have super sweaty pits and I'm hoping to buy CertainDri or Drysol (active ingredient: Aluminum Chloride) which are sold in the US. Do they sell it in the Philippines, too? Thanks. Thanks FakeBobJones. It doesn't smell. It just sweats excessively. I've tried Tawas. It doesn't work. Nothing works actually. That's why I'm hoping to try the imported anti-perspirants. Which drug store? I've tried asking Watsons and Mercury Drug any no one was aware of what I was talking about. Err.

A: unfortunately i don't think they have those in the philippines

Q: were do they sale drysol dab-on on a local store?
ive been looking for drysol dab-on in wallgreens and i cant find it! UGH! dose this mean i have to buy it online? or were could i find a local store that sells this product??

A: I would try the pharmacy sections of Walmart and Target. You might find it there. If not, online might be your only option.

Q: Drysol isn't working?
I recently bought myself some Drysol (mild) from the drug store. I used it for about 3 nights in a row and there was no result. What am I doing wrong? Has this happened to anybody and how can i fix it?The directions arent very clear so could someone explain it to me. ..My underarms are doing the sweating, a whole lot of sweating

A: You need to use it continuously until you see the results that you want. Are you properly using it at night? You need to make sure your dry wherever you are putting it and then apply and make sure it dries before you put anything over it. After you get the results you are wanting you are only supposed to use it like 2 times a week. And you need to remember that you are not to wear any type of deodorant or antiperspirant with it. I know it sounds gross but that is what you have to do.

Q: DRYSOL...pleasee help,explain,etc?
I just bought a product called Drysol for my hyperhydrosis problem that I have(sweatyness of my hands and feet, excessively). I read the instructions and everything, but I could use some advice, tips, help, explanations... lol. Also if you use it yourself or know someone that would be great to tell me about....Even if you don't you could still help... All would be appreciated. Thanksss :)

A: well this is a very strange product. i use it and there are some odd things about it. for one when you use it you are supposed to wrap your hands/feet in suran wrap and then place socks over them. ( this keeps all the liquid inside, because it stains horribly!) you're supposed to do this at night so it has a long time on your hands or feet but it is VERY uncomfortable due to all the wrappings! the next thing is it makes where ever you apply feel very dry and sometimes cracking will occur. also if you don't do this every single night the sweating will come back. it does not cure it! but i do find that when i use this my hands do not sweat! it is worth it in the end to go through all the annoyance for the end result. hope i helped you!!!

Q: Is drysol by prescription?
i have tried... dove, secret, teen spirit, lady spirit stick, some mens kind, suave, soft and dry, arrid extra extra dry, dry idea, clincical strength secret, and certain dry. I need something that will work! I am now going to try drysol but I need to know if I have to see a doctor to get it or if I can jsut buy it at walmart or something? Your answers are very very very appreciated :)

A: In the US, Drysol is a prescribed medication. You need to see your doctor
