Q: Can you suggest an online pharmacy whih sells bottles of *injectable* b12?
I am able to find it being sold in small vials, but not in a single, larger bottle.
A: Yes, B12 is safe and used by athletes and people who want an extra boost of energy. You can find injectable B12 usually marketed under a different name. Try Cyanocobalamin injection which can be found at Canandian pharmacies (safer than other countires). I dont think you will need a written prescription for it. Try looking for 10ml or 1ml sizes http://www.canadadrugsuperstore.com/more.asp?ProductID=25273&Strength=34114&se=SDC
Q: what is a good dose of b12 injectable for bodybuilding purposes?
i know alot of bodybuilders use b12 inj. but i cant find the dose for it. like how often and how much
ok, so far i havent had any answers im looking for. yes bodybuilders use this because it is a burst of energy but also to help your mood and especialy coming off steroids. what dose is all i need to know
A: B12 has absolutely nothing to do with building muscle. Sublingual B12 is about as effective as injectable. B12 may give you a little more energy...that's it.
Bodybuilders use a diet high in protein, steroids, ect.
Q: What is the difference between veterinarian grade B12 injectable and human grade B12 injectable?
A: The price most obviously. Beyond that the veterinarian grade products are about the same as the human version, they just haven't had the same level of government testing done on them. Therefore it is illegal to use veterinarian products on humans even though they are exactly the same thing.
Q: why does my injectable b12 sting when I inject it?
it feels like its burning when I am injecting it...
A: You're stimulating stretch receptors. Try injecting a bit more slowly. Fast stab, slow injection is usually the combination that makes for the least painful shot.
Q: Should injectable b12, and injectable b-complex be stored in the refrigerator?
A: No, room temperature is fine. Unless otherwise indicated on the label.

Metformin may cause diminished oral absorption of vitamin B12. Reduced serum levels of vitamin B12 occur in a significant percentage of patients taking metformin chronically.
Absorption of vitamin B12 from the GI tract may be decreased by aminoglycoside antibiotics, such as gentamicin, tobramycin, and amikacin.

A: B-12 injections for sure.
Q: How much vitamin b12 can you have injected per week.?
im having 1cc injections...how many are you allotted per week. How many cc's of the injectable vitamin b12 is in a safe range per week?
and I am going to talk to my doctor I don't see him until tommrow..I have been wondering since last night though.
A: You do not usually need an injection once a week. Once a month is considered enough. Ask your doctor why you need the dose so often.
Q: How many 1000 mcg doses of injectable solution can be made from 1 gram of methylcobalamin powder?
Methylcobalamin is also known as mecobalamin. It is a form of b12 thatyour body doesn't need to convert in order to use. It is already converted.
Anyways, this is the red methylcobalamin powdered crystals.
Zeep, that is clearly NOT what I was asking.
It isn't that simple.
A: 1 gram=1,000,000 mcg. The other person is right....1 gram = 1000 mcg and 1 mg = 1000 mcg, Therefore, 1 gram=1,000,000 mcg. Just move the decimal over 3 spaces each time for conversions :)
EDIT: Sorry, I think I read this wrong. It depends on how much dilutent you are adding to the gram of powder to figure this out.

I'm almost done but can't find how people administer the vitamins themselves.NO not steroids.
Person with two answer will mostly likely get 10 pts
A: They are injected intramuscular, into the muscle tissue.
You only have to get the needle into the muscle tissue. So it will depend on how much adipose that the patient has on top of the muscle as to how far the needle will have to be inserted. A very lean person may only have to insert the needle a quarter inch into the thigh or buttocks, whereas a very obese person may have to insert the needle a good 2 inches to get it through the layers of adipose and reach the muscle tissue.
The reason you may choose to use injectable B12 compounds as opposed to oral administration, is due to the fact that some patients have a very poor ability to absorb the vitamin, so if given orally or intranasaly even, they will not absorb enough of it and therefore it will not help their condition, whereas the injection will eliminate much of the need for absorbtion.
Drawbacks are just like any injectable drug or supplement that will be performed by the patient themselves and that is performing the injection incorrectly. It can lead to infection or even damage to nerves, tissue, etc. if the patient does not follow the directions and instructions given to them by a health professional.
